COCHRANE'S in Newfoundland

Searching for information on the family of William G. Cochrane and his wife, Esther Perry. Looking for parents and siblings. William was b-1833 in New Brunswick d-1891-1897 in Detroit, MI. He was of Scottish descent and a farmer. 1881 census lists him as Methodist, Scotch and a Bandmaster. Wm. was a drummer in the Royal Newfoundland Companies and he was married to Esther (Hester, Easter) Perry 1858 in St Thomas Church by Rev. Wood, Garrison Chaplain. Their first two children, Margaret Caroline and Elizabeth were born in Newfoundland 1859 and 1861 respectively. Elizabeth married John Henry Trueman in 1882 in Newfoundland. I would like to learn more about William and Hester's parents, grandparents siblings and others. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
