Margaret:
Many thanks to you and Harry for your replies. I spent 1 1/2 hours on Harry's links but came up 'dry' so far. My task is complicated by not knowing my gg grandfather's 1st name who is buried there, not knowing my gg grandmother's maiden name who married there (but buried in Toronto), knowing my g grandparents, grandfather and grandaunt names but birth dates on their gravestones in Toronto (born in Twillingate District) are the year only-and no marriage dates.
I have a low level of success expectation but I high level of trip enjoyment anticipation. When booking a motel I referred to the owner that I was 25% 'Newfie'. He replied that after he made me a plate of Cod Tongues, I would feel 50%. After being force-fed Cod Liver Oil as a kid, I am a little nervous about this meal.
Thanks again,
Jim
