Nora Carter from Burgeo
Posted by: Diane Hayman (ID *****2380) Date: March 29, 2006 at 20:29:53

Many years ago I had a penpal named Nora Carter from Burgeo; and over the years since we lost touch I have thought about her many times. Last week I found a snapshot she had sent me when we were much younger- and I thought this was a sign I should try to find her again. Nora and I shared the very same birthday, August 26, 1942- and I have found her family in the 1945 Newfoundland Census. Her parents were Edward and Julia, and at that time she had two older brothers- Douglas and two older sisters- maria and Clara- and a younger brother, Edward. If anyone reading this could help me find Nora, I would be most grateful. I still live in Westville Nova Scotia at 1900 Drummond Road, P.O. Box 853- and postal code is B0K 2A0.
Thanks sincerely for any help,

Diane Johnson Hayman
