Seymour, Allward, Hirst, and Ellis in St. Johns
Posted by: Lynn Regan (ID *****9473) Date: July 25, 2005 at 20:11:54
  of 1169

Charles Seymour married Elizabeth Warren 1806 in St. David Exeter, Devon. Children Thomas William, John Edward, Isaac, Charles, and Henry----all the boys were baptized with their given names plus Warren AND Seymour. Girls Mary Ann Sophia, Elizabeth, and Ann. All christened between 1807 and 1833 and NOT according to their birthdates. Thomas William Warren Seymour and Henry Warren Seymour left Devon and came to Newfoundland, Canada, to live and successfully raise their families in St. JOhns. Henry married Mary Ann Allward, children Alfred Henry Seymour, Ann, Henry Charles, Henry John. Thomas William married Elizabeth Ellis, children Fanny Elizabeth, Thomas Archer, and Frederic. Anyone else researching these families? I have lots to share, and questions of my own? Fanny Elizabeth married Edwin Clement Hirst.
