You'll be in the right area for your search, as many Bourdeaus came from that area, as well as the town of Laprairie, QC. You might also want to check in Napierville County, right next door, which was a sort of gateway to the American Midwest for the Quebecois families. Do post on the Quebec Genforum and Rootsweb Message Boards, as well as the Bourdeau forum and message board. You might get lucky!
