margaret I. hunter was my great great granmother, she was supposed to have been born somewhere in newfoundland, and according to family , she was afull blooded native american who had been orphaned young and then raised by a white family. she married a man named george anderson lunan who was also from newfoundland, they had two daugthers and a son who were all born in newfoundland as well, however all family members of those earlier generations are long passed away, and i am one of the few of my generation to know any of the family history at all.they later moved to and lived in peacedale rhode island, where they are also burried.the one daughter maybel , who was my great granmother was born 1n feb. 1895 newfoundland. if any one can add to this any info on margaret or has any ideas on how i may be able to find info on her or how i might go about finding which tribe she was desendanmt from please feel free to respond.
