Mary Robinson, born abt. 1857/Hopedale Newfoundland

I have been searching for the birth place of my great grandmother, Mary Josephine Robinson for quite awhile.
She married my great grandfather in Holyoke, Massachusetts in 1893. Both her death certificate and her marriage certificate indicate that she was born in Hopedale,Massachusetts.

I have never been able to find any evidence of her birth in that community nor any evidence of a Robinson family having been in the vicinity in the late 1850's and early 1860's.

Since Mary's father, Louis Robinson emigrated from Canada, I thought that I might check for any evidence of Mary's birth in Canada. I was made aware of Hopedale, Newfoundland so I thought that I'd inquire about Mary's possible birth in that community.

Mary's mother was either Elizabeth or Mary Gosselin and her father was Louis Robinson. She may have been born as early as 1857 or as late as 1862 depending upon the record.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
