Monique, The 1921 NFLD Census has Winston and his family in St Johns West pages 106-120. His father was Lorenzo born Dec 1886 (there is a typo. He's listed as Lorenza) from Jacksons Arm and his mother was Beatrice from Lady Cove Trinity Bay.
There is also a Lorenzo Newhook born Jacksons Cove 1865, married to Fanny. This could be the earlier generation.
