Well....what I do know is that she was called Mary (I suppose that this could have been a middle name and not a first name, but Mary I am sure)...what I also know is that she had brothers, Peter and "Bob" (which probably is Robert)..that Peter is noted on Bapt Cert of one of her children is sure, as I have a copy...she also had sisters, Kitty (lord knows what the real name is) and a Sarah (again from Bapt Cert). The 1921 Census has a Peter aged 64 and his wife Caroiline aged 82!!! Talk about your Mrs Robinson, she is way older than he was...Peter Rideout was probably named after her brother Peter. Richard Rideout and Peter Handrigan were both listed in 1904 McAlpine, so they certainly knew each other. The Sarah, may be the Sarah Osborne, died at St John's but bur at Frenchman's Cove in 1911. The thing that gets me is the name, Handrigan/Handrahan/ Handrigan...you name it it turns up... I would appreciate any help at all on the family. Thanks. MAC By the way Richard Rideout is my great-grandfather on my mom's side.
