Johnson-Newfoundland, NY

My Great Grandfather, Harry Johnson met and apparently married his wife, Maria in Newfoundland around 1860ish. Her parents were born in England, as were his. The couple moved to Dutchess County, NY where he apparently served during the Civil War. Their first child, William, born in 1867 was my Grandfather.
I know this is a real long shot but if this rings a bell with anybody email me at rw1146@aol.com

Bob
