Belle, daughter, age 3, born Sept. 1907 Marches Point
Eve, son, age 9 months, born Nov. 1910 Marches Point
**
so some errors which is common in census records - for instance they show Mary age 37 and born 1883 rather than 1873 ?
and Eve as son when in 1921 Eva is a daughter
However these are transcription, not the images
The marriage record for James and Ethel in NS shows her full name as Ethel Margaret Sowers, parents George Sowers and Sarah Griffith
James' parents are shown as Angus Young and Augustine Chaisson
Ethel is shown as born Sheffield NB which explains why that is where James was headed to meet his wife - in that 1933 passenger list
BUT I did not find a birth for son Kenneth.
I found a family tree that has Ethel Sowers born May 1905 to George Albert Sowers and Sarah Jane Purdy Griffiths
It says Ethel died Sept 22, 1941 Halifax, NS age 36
there is a photo of her which has her named as Ethel Sowers Young McLean 1905-1941
so if she did remarry it must have been quickly after James died in Oct 1940 if she died Sept. 1941, only a year later
I went back to NS records and around death for Etheland it does show her name as McLean
her husband is Francis McLean
Father is George Sowers
Mother isnot known
informant is her husband Francis
Ethel died of Cerebral thrombosis, carcinoma of rectum
I cannot find a marriage for her to Francis McLean and did not find any children for her at all.
