Elijah Earleb. 1872, b. Nfld. Age 25, father John, mother Rebecca. bride Edna Wilcoxb. 1875, b. Nfld. age 22. Parents of bride not mentioned.
In New Glasgow, Pictou, Nova Scotia. married July 17, 1897
On ancestry,
I do believe this is Rebecca Russell, because looking at the 1891, Nova Scotia census that I mentioned. The very last person listed living with the John & Rebecca Earle, is a George Crane being 25 or 26.
Also, living in Colchester NS. is a Joseph Crane & young Family, ( could this be another of Rebecca's children) his mother-in-law is with them, Susanne Earle she is a widow. The age of both Crane men are consistent with what was posted with the Crane’s on Ancestry.I tried to contact this person and the information ended up being blocked on Ancestry.
He also lists 4 of the Earle children, I had named. Not the two from Gardner Ma.
I still have no idea who John Earle was married to first and if he had a child named George that was married to a Mary or Margaret Moran. (my gggrandparents)
Another comment in the 1900 US census Rebecca said she had been married 43 years..I assumed it was to the same guy. guess not.also, between the Crane & Earles’ I have mentioned, this is now 11 children.Where the other two she was counting were they John's, from a previous marriage or all hers?
Thanks for any help sent my way,
looking for the death info, for John & Rebecca Earle and information on the Crane children.
