Anglican Church Records,Placentia,Newfoundland

Does anyone know the whereabouts of the very old burial records for the Anglican Churchyard Cemetery in Placentia,Newfoundland.
I have contacted the people in charge there currently, but they have no idea on these. My guess is that, when the really old(1786) church was torn down in 1905,that the old records may have been stored somewhere for safekeeping.
Anyone have any ideas? My GGG-GF and his family(Quakers) were buried there in early 1800s. One of their headstones was still visible in the 1930s(long before my time) but has since fallen over and been buried in Springtime mud etc.Thanks.Ward.wardgreene@hotmail.com
