He does not appear to have been in New Brunswick in 1911. I see know special trace of him in the vital statistics available in New Brunswick. It is probable that his wife lived in Chatham due to the air force base there. It was a major training base in WWI for Commonwealth pilots. Even so, there are traces of a large, Crawford family in nearby Blackville Parish. Amongst these the name, Nathaniel, appears a few times. Without knowing Nathan's parents, it would be difficult to make any connection. According to:
http://www.twgpp.org/information.php?id=1285872http://www.twgpp.org/information.php?id=1285872
these would be Thomas Remsen and Winifred Crawford. Thomas Remsen and Winifred (Williama) Crawford had a son, Thomas William Crawford, b. 103 Park St., Moncton, Moncton Parish, Westmorland Co., NB 21AUG1911. In 1933 Winifred still lived in Moncton. Thomas Sr. was from (Lincolnstone?), Georgia and Winifred from Moncton. Thomas. Jr. was a managing writer for a newspaper in 1933.
When they married in Westmorland Co., NB 26DEC1907, Thomas 'Rensen' Crawford was b. Lincoln Co., Georgia ca. 1867 and he was a resident of Appling, Columbia Co., Georgia. He was a journalist and the son of Nathan A. and Harriet E. Crawford. Winifred Williams (b. Moncton ca. 1875) was the daughter of Thomas and Analena Williams.
I still cannot find them in the 1911 census.

I do find Winifred Williams in Moncton in 1901. She was b. 6NOV1876 (but the 1901 census is unreliable in this respect) and was the eldest child of Thomas (6JUN1848) and 'Ananela' (25MAR1853) Williams. Elsewhere they are Thomas W. and Analena (Rourke) Williams. Also she is given as Anna Lela Williams. Thomas Williams (b. England 3JUN1846, d. Moncton 27NOV1929) was treasurer for the Canadian National Railway. Analena Williams (b. Saint John, NB 25MAR1852, d. Moncton 4APR1934) was the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Scoles/Scales) O'Rourke from Ireland.
