If the enumerator used 'Ellen' for 'Helena', he was likely Scottish as they used Helen and Ellen interchangeably. Certainly, whoever it was, he was not familiar with Acadian names. That happens a lot, both ways, and makes it very difficult. That's why I was suspicious of 'Dusty', it just didn't seem right.
