for Thaddée Bastarache and his wives. They seem to have some details on their ancestry but may be a bit weak on descendants. The trouble with many of these genealogical sites is that, while they may guide you, you eventually have to retrace their steps and/or dig out actual information yourself.
Just try searching for their names first. For example, Pierre Dallaire, if you add quotation marks as in "Pierre Dallaire" you get about 35,000 entries, but if you search for:
"Pierre Dallaire" Buctouche
you get:

and so on. Note that he appears to have originally been Peter Dollard from Ireland, and the his wife is also given as Sophie Petipas. When I search for him as "Peter Dollard" there are:

You may also wish to search:

Use the 2nd search engine, the first doesn't work. This leads me, for example, to:

Ultimately you will have to familiarize yourself with:
http://archives.gnb.ca/Archives/Default.aspx?culture=en-CAhttp://archives.gnb.ca/Archives/Default.aspx?culture=en-CA
especially:
http://archives.gnb.ca/Archives/CountyGuides.aspx?culture=en-CAhttp://archives.gnb.ca/Archives/CountyGuides.aspx?culture=en-CA
which will tell you what microfilms are available for examination. Roman Catholic Church records for Buctouche 1800-1870 are on film F-1729 but you have to write to:
Research Inquiries for the Archdiocese of Moncton should be directed to:
Archdiocese of Moncton
PO Boc 248 Moncton, NB

to get permission to examine it. You can also get copies of originals in the vital statistics database, such as the birth record for 'Nicolas' Bastarache's daughter, Celeste,at:
http://archives.gnb.ca/APPS/GovRecs/VISSE/141A1b.aspx?culture=en-CA&guid=1B9BE829-00F4-46AC-AB9D-BE48D0D57863http://archives.gnb.ca/APPS/GovRecs/VISSE/141A1b.aspx?culture=en-CA&guid=1B9BE829-00F4-46AC-AB9D-BE48D0D57863
or his registration of death at:
http://archives.gnb.ca/APPS/GovRecs/VISSE/141C4.aspx?culture=en-CA&guid=CC3276BB-A705-4D86-B0D5-0BA686E720FBhttp://archives.gnb.ca/APPS/GovRecs/VISSE/141C4.aspx?culture=en-CA&guid=CC3276BB-A705-4D86-B0D5-0BA686E720FB
There are a few birth records for Celeste's and Jean-Baptiste Boucher's children, their marriage record in 1892, and so on.
There were a lot of Jean-Baptist Boucher's, but Jean was b. Louisburg ca. 1866, the s/o Antoine and Marie (Richard) Boucher. He and Celeste lived in St. Mary (Ste-Marie) Parish in Kent Co., NB in 1901 when he was given as b. 19FEB1867 (unreliable.) He apparently was born in NB, so Louisburg is likely not the one in Cape Breton. In 1891, in Weldford Parish, Kent Co., NB, Antoine (54) and Marie (52) Boucher have a son, 'Johni' age 24 years. In 1871, in Weldford Parish, he is 'Antony Boushay' (34), and 'Mary' is age 32. 'John' is age 5. This leads me to search for:
"Antoine Boucher" Weldford
getting:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weldford_Parish,_New_Brunswickhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weldford_Parish,_New_Brunswick
http://genforum.genealogy.com/canada/messages/97574.htmlhttp://genforum.genealogy.com/canada/messages/97574.html
When I substitute Richard for Weldford, I get:

and so on.
