Henry (Walter A.?) Murphy and Charlotte Knox

According to her death record. Charlotte (Knox) Murphy d. 249 Brussell St., Saint John, Saint John Co., NB 19APR1916 age 56 years. She was b. England ca. 1860. On the other hand, her burial record says she was b. Saint John, Saint John Co., NB.

In 1901, Henry Murphy (23NOB1860) and Charlotte (23OCT1860) are stated to have been b. in NS. In 1911, Charlotte was b. England and arrived in 1890.

A 'Charlo' or Charlotte Knox (b. ca. 1861), m. Halifax, Halifax Co., NS 30APR1881 Walter A. Murphy (b. ca. 1858.) This Walter was a printer as was Henry in 1901. He was b. Halifax a s/o John and Ellen Murphy, and she was b. Canterbury (England?). the d/o James and Rachel Knox. Charlotte Knox (ca. 1859) lived in Halifax with a widow, Rachel Knox (ca. 1851) and a brother, James Knox (19.) Rachel and Charlotte were b. England and James was b. E. Indies. Other siblings were John F. Knox b. East Indies ca. 1864 and George A. Knox b. England ca. 1868. James, when Charlotte was married, was given as a shoemaker and he may have been the James Knox who d. Halifax 14JAN1869.
