Hi Heidi,
I have done a few quick lookups on a couple of your posts by searching on this link a few can be answered. It's the national archive for New Brunswick and they are orignal birth marriage and death records. Could find 3 late birth registration using Howie name that were signed by another relative. There were registrations listed for Russell with mother Murray.
