I am perplexed by a death certificate I discovered. The person is Walter F Griffin of Portland, ME. Born Oct 5, 1898 (So Portland, ME, I think)and married to Katherine Quinn Griffin, Walter died Aug 21, 1931 at 149 Orange St, St John, New Brunswick. The death certificate states he was on a 3 week vacation, but why there? Walter's parents, David Griffin (born Aug 1845 fisherman) and Hannah F Littlejohn (born Aug 5, 1842 d/o Joseph C & Nancy), were married Cape Elizabeth, ME July 2, 1868. Walter had a brother, Charles F Griffin (born Oct 1880/1882).

Is this person, this address, or this family familar to anyone? Thanks.
