I don't know if this is of any use to you, Thomas, but Indiantown, Portland isn't the same as Queens Ward. Indiantown is down at the end of Main St. by the St. John River while Queens ward is uptown. I believe I have a link to an 1875 map if you think it may be helpful.
It is unfortunate that many records for Saint John were destroyed in the fire of (1871?) and there are few census resources.
