Posted by: nicholas heron (ID *****5716) Date: November 22, 2010 at 19:13:00
  of 4952

Found in
Simmons Parish in the 1851 N B Provincial Census Records Index.

Half the family disappeared between 1834 and 1851.
Johnís wife, Ann Craik, their two older sons John and Williamí
Kid brother Andrew as well as oldest sister Nicholas who on her way to California: all are missing. However, there are
Two much younger children born in the early 1840ís Thomas
And Matilda.

Did the older boys decide to migrate to another part of
Caaada? Or across the border to the US.Or did they go to Australia ? or may be to New Zealand?
Or did the four of them die in an epidemic?
I have looked in the Provincial Archives; also Iíve tried various Saint John cemeteries and found nothing

Thankyou N.
