Thanks Suzanne! I finally got to read through the Dan Johnson newpapers. What a treasure. I did not find my family. I checked as many spelling variations as I could think of. There was some history there, though that was fascinating. Interesting that there were contacts with people who had moved on to New York or Pennsylvania or Wyoming, still not my family, but coal miners in the same time period! Thanks again. Martha Swaim
