I am researching Jacob Powell and his spouse, Phoebe Carle. This is what I have on Jacob:- New Brunswick Provincial Archives Daniel Johnson's New Brunswick Newspaper Vital Statistics Volume 2 Number 831; Date April 29, 1820; County Nova Scotia; Place - Newspaper Acadian Recorder:- Est(ate of) Jacob POWELL, Richibucto (Kent Co.); Exec.: Phebe POWELL, Andrew S. RITCHIE, John WHETEN, 17 Nov.
This what I have on Phoebe (Carle) Powell:- 01) In 1787, Phoebe Carle, a spinster, who had arrived in the first fleet, asked vacant land on the west side of the Washademoak Lake, but was told that the land was not vacant. There was no further mention of Phoebe Carle, a spinster, who was probably a sister of Thomas, and it may be presumed that she married. Source: E.C.
