Suzanne is correct when she mentions that James Jordan (b. Long Island, NY 8FEB1761, bpt. the Old Dutch (Dutch Reformed) Church, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester Co, NY 13APR1761, d. Saint John 24MAR1846 age 85 years, bur. Church of England Cemetery, Saint John, Saint John Co., NB ) arrival as a single man in 1783, on the ship, 'Cyrus'. Also on the ship were some of my ancestors and sort of Suzanne's cousins. Possibly kin to both of us was Judith Brundage (b. 11DEC1767, d. Brittain St., Saint John, Saint John Co., NB 19MAY1852 age 84 years, Church of England Cemetery, Saint John, Saint John Co., NB , possible daughter of Nathaniel Brundage.) There were also members of the Brundage family on the 'Cyrus', but apparently not Judith.
I had started a file studying the families on the 'Cyrus' with the suspicion that they were connected before 1783 and after.
I have added your notes and will try to send you, separately, my segment on the jordan family as I have it so far.
