Seeking Charles Miles Burns b 1 June 1854 St John, New Brunswick

Charles Miles Burns, Born 1 June 1854 St John New Brunswick,the son of James Jordan Burns. As listed on Charle's marriage register, his father was a merchant living in Liverpool on Commercial St.
Per family records, he immigrated to USA in 1866, age 12.
Did he come with his parents?
Married 6 June 1890 at St Aidan's Parish Church in Liverpool, England to Mary Ellen Morrison. Charles was then a baker and marine cook. She the daughter of neighbor and mariner James Andrew Morrison.
They emigrated to United States soon after the marriage in either 1890 or 1891 as they do not appear in the census of either country.
Charles died in Newton, Massachusetts 14 August 1926.
Mary Ellen died in Newton, MA 12 June 1939.
Both are buried in the Newton Cemetery, though not together.

Seeking to confirm his parents and their lineage.

Any info greatly appreciated.
