Marty: Here is a little more info that I have regarding Benjamin McGlashing - not sure if you may already have some of it:
James William McGlashing
s/o - Benjamin McGlashing & Elizabeth Hanright
James b. 2-27-1866 Tidnish,NS
d. 11-29-1929 in Iowa
James married Laura(maiden name unknown)
Laura b. 3-1-1870 Wisconsin
d. April 22,1933 in Iowa
After James death Laura went onto marry a second time to Cornelius Callahan.
I have no children listed for James & Laura.
Benjamin and Alma Springer:
Children that I have listed:
Passmore McGlashing - b.@1875 & d. 5-21-1942 in Baie Verte,N.B..
Passmore's death information comes from a Funeral Notice that his sister had placed in her local paper.
I gave you a death date of 5-21 but as I look at the funeral notice it states he had died @ a week before.
Twins born to Benjamin & Alma:
Micajah b.11-15-1879 in New Brunswick
d. - Nov 20,1936 in Iowa
Micajah married Minnie (maiden name unknown)
Minnie b.1888 & d. 1969
Micajah & Minnie had one son:
Benjamin James
b. Oct.22,1915 in Iowa
d. June 2,1974 in Iowa
After Micajah's death in 1936 Minnie would go onto marry two more times.
Micajah's twin sister Kate:
Kate b. 11-15-1879 New Brunswick
d. Dec.8,1952 in Iowa
Kate married Elmer Basley - Oct.17,1901
children of Kate & Elmer:
Bernice - Marie - Henry & Howard
Regarding Micajah & Kate - I have no dates but do know they were adopted by a family with the surname of "Howard" - I'll look more into that.
