I have just recently learned that my GGrandfather, Isaac B. Benson may have been born in Gondola Pt., NB but I haven't been able to document this. He was the son of Seth Benson, the Loyalist who fought in the Rev. War. Seth Benson was from NY state but moved to New Brunswick towards the end of the war. Isaac was born abt. 1793 and through cemetary records I have been told that he was a veteral of the War of 1812 but since there is no record of him enlisting in either ME or Mass., I believe that he enlisted in New Brunswick and was also a Loyalist. I would greatly appreciate any help you may be able to give me.
