Hello Jean-Marie,
I know that James was a butcher in Scotland before he went to Montreal, he may or may not have carried this trade on in Canada. Also his name was James ELVIDGE Young.

I am also interested in what you said here:

and wonder if it may have been them?? Christine may well have been RC. James was born in 1884 and christine 1886 if this helps.
