Hello Elaine:

I have looked at Lovell's directory for Montreal for 1907/1908 and I did not find a James Edwidge Young. I have found 4 James Young; and cannot determine which one he would be if that is the case. no James E. Do you know the occupation of James Edw.?

Using a still-incomplete database of marriages (mainly RC), I have found a record for James E. and Christine.

It is regrettable that even Drouin marriage repertory (on a province-wide basis) does not incl. any or only some of the non RC marriages. However, I will have a look at Drouin's work.

Jean-Marie
