Thank You Muriel for your reply. I looked at the site that you sent and wasn't quite sure about the difference between a certificate and a copy of act form. Does the certificate tell who the parents are, or does that only come the act form? It looks like you can't request any act form information any more. I know the registration in BC of birth, death and marriage gives us details on on the person we are looking for as well as the names of the parents. Maybe I just misunderstood the working from the site you sent. Thanks again for your help. I will check further into it now I know who to contact. Happy hunting
