bonsoir Ellen:

I am not familiar with the process implied by the granting of a marriage licence. Was a divorce involved?

nevertheless I have not been able to find a marriage record for Burbage and Allard in Québec.

Since the marriage was celebrated by a Minister, it is obvious that it was not a Roman Cath. marriage. One would have to know the name of the parish or town to find the marriage record.

Not knowing the name of Jean-Baptiste Allard's wife, it is difficult to find the place where the marriage may have taken place.

désolé,

Jean-Marie
Hull,Québec
