Your Thomas Belding Whittemore was the son of Thomas Whittemore and Priscilla Belding. The scrawl of his baptismal record seems to indicate that he was born on May 28th and baptized May 30th, 1824. He was baptized with an older sister, Adelaide Augusta, who was born May 22, 1823.

Also, Thomas Belding was named after an older sibling who was baptized December 30, 1818. At the time of his baptism, he was "aged 4 years past in March last." This first Thomas Belding Whittemore died and was buried July 25/26, 1819 "aged 5 years, 4 months". By the way, this first Thomas Belding was baptized on the same day as his brother, Ezekiel Francis, who was aged 6 months at the time of his baptism.

All entries are from the registers of St. Gabriel's Presbyterian Church, Montreal, Quebec.
