Mathews Family in St. Antoine Ward Census 1891
Posted by: Jeanne Mathews Bell (ID *****9088) Date: September 13, 2002 at 03:37:27

Hi. My great grandmother Jane Mathews/Matthews is listed in the 1891 census, living in St Antoine Ward, as a widow, with 8 of her children. The entry includes my own grandfather, Robert Walter Mathews, aged 11, born USA. My question is, can someone please tell me how to find the actual address, village or town etc, that this census entry would have been made from. In the census info, the name Mathews is spelt with two t's, i.e. Matthews. I would be really really grateful if anyone has any ideas for me please. Thank you, Jeanne (N.Z).
