Gandle Family in Montreal
Posted by: David Gandle Date: November 04, 2001 at 04:24:25
  of 1963

I am seeking information about the family of James Gandle and Ellen (nee Hall) Gandle who settled in Montreal in the mid or late 1800s after emigrating from Belfast, (now Northern) Ireland. They had at least two children -- a son, Walter Gandle, born around 1879 or 1880 and a daughter, name unknown. Both children immigrated to the United States, where Walter, my grandfather, died in 1905. The daughter reportedly married and moved to somewhere in the southern US. Any information or research suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
