Iremongers England to Montreal
Posted by: Shirley-Anne Iremonger Date: April 09, 2001 at 16:23:12
  of 1963

My great grandparents, William IREMONGER (1958) and Adelaide Lucy WINSTONE (1854) immigrated to Montreal from England in the late 1890. They had 8 children the last 2 born in Canada. I am trying to find out exactly when they arrived and the name of the ship if possible. I do not know if they came together or at different times. William IREMONGER was a stone mason and carved the baptismal font for St. George's Y.M.C.A. Maisonneuve Mission. Today the font is located in St. Cyprains Anglican Church. The font was carved in 1898. Can anyone out there help?
