Glad I was able to help you along.
As for the 'dit' names, they can be quite confusing at times.
'dit' names are particular to French settlers in Quebec. Immigrants would sometimes adopt the name of where they came from, or the names of those who sponsored them or the name of the family they came to work for. In this case it could be that Mr. Baille's ancestors may have come from a village named St. Aubin in France or they came to work for a farmer by the name of St. Aubin. These 'dit names wre used to distinguish the many Mailles that may have lived in the same area of Quebec.
