I am a gt-gt-granddaughter of James Edward Dunakey. I have been searching for the correct spelling of the name for over 44 years. I believe the correct spelling is Dunneke; it is the one he used the first twenty years in the US. I have found one possible set of parents in the Drouin Collection (he was six yrs on the 1851 Canadian census). The birthdate you are using is incorrect. I know it is on the tombstone, but Mary E. Covington was about ten years older than James, and she wanted people to think they were born the same time.
