Michele,
Thank you for your reply and kind offer of help. Yes, I would like any information you would like to share with me. I have the names in my husband's lineage going back to Nicolas' father, but I don't have any personal information to go along with it, such as where they lived, what their occupations were, etc. Are there any sites in the Montreal area associated with the Senets?

My husband and children's lineage is 1. Pierre 2. Nicolas 3. Joseph Francis 4. Joseph 5. Ignatius 6. Moses Louis 7. Moses 8. William Moses 8. Earl 9. Nola (McDonald) 10. Thomas J. McDonald III 11. Thomas J. McDonald IV (my son). I believe Ignatius may have been the ancestor who moved first to Michigan, but it may have been earlier. I believe one of my husband's ancestors through the female line was one of the first settlers of Detroit in Cadillac's settlement. I'm trying to research that for Detroit's 300th anniversary next year. My husband's parents still live in Mt. Clemens, Michigan area where I have found Senets (Snays)since the early 1800's.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Barbara McDonald
