Dear Volunteers,

Starting this week, the listings of burials on the website of the Mt-Royal Cemetery is not available anymore.

What a shame. It seems that there were complaints and other factors to cancel that well-used research tool!!

Now you have to give your name and phone mumber/or e-mail to receive details for every deceased person. And the cost for researched details is $10 instead of $5. To go from 165 acres of info on our Montrealers to Zero is a shame.
That means no more helping others with that website, since we cannot leave our name every time we hope to find some clue for people we try to help ( in my case more than 10 times a week/average).

Please we should let them know that we are not happy with this change of service, since we use it to help others.

Their e-mail address is at the bottom of the webpage above-mentioned.

I hope I transmitted my concern clearly enough in English, since it is my second language.

Let them know we are very disappointed ! Write them.
