A starting point to some good news.
I have found Julia in the 1881 can Census in Cornwall, ON. With her parents and 7 children incl. Julia who was 14 at the time.
Is this news to you?
You had said that she was born and bapt. in Montreal in 1866 but On the given date I did not find a baptism record at Notre-Dame which was the main RC parish in the city.
Siblings of Julia and age in 1881:
Elizabeth, 20
Mary, 18
Ida, 12
Frank A, 10
Louis E. 8
Rose, 6 , the only one born in Ontario.
Still unsure as to the maiden name of Julia, wife of Louis. Can you help?
