Hello Floyd:

My gen. society does have the Drouin digitized Church records of Quebec. Early next week I will check that record 47 of 50 for 1842. I don't have access of the same at home.
A few questions:

a. Do you have his marriage record to Madeleine Falorsi in New Orleans; it should contain his parents' names.

b. What info is available in the 1860 census other than he was in the Union Army. Any age mention or names of people he was living with.

c. Other than born in 1842, do you have his full DOB?

Unless you have more info than just being born in 1842 abiyt your Thomas, it may be difficult to conclude that this Thomas in St-Aime de Richelieu is in fact your GGF.

Jean-Marie
