Found the marriage record for Denis Lane and Hanna Lenihan on 17 Jun 1884 at St-Gabriel, Montreal. He was the son of Maurice Lane and Ellen McQuinn. She was the daughter of Daniel Lenihan and Bridget Kennedy.

I will check the census but I do think that this means that the Bridget listed as the Godmother is the sister of Hanna........
