There is a death record for a Denis Lane in Montréal (Basilique Notre-Dame) from the parish of Ste Anne. Date of death is 28 April 1893, age of Denis is 32. All this fits with the census.
His wife, however, is listed as Ellen Lenihan. Hannah=Helen? Not sure. But thought I would pass this along.
Find nothing for Hannah Lane/Lenihan or Helen/Ellen of the same surnames. Did find Maurice in the 1901 census, but not his birth record.
