Thank you. Yes William the son was in the war and I have his records. The sons grew up with Mary Ann Papps and her family in Montreal and in fact in adulthood they both believed they had been born in Montreal. As older adults they found out they were actually born in St. John's Newfoundland. The william Creamore in the cemetery is very interesting but the date is off. William Augustus (the names seem to be interchangeable) Sr died in 1887, could it be he wasn't buried until 1890? William, the son, married in 1908 in Newfoundland to Rose Miller. By the time he entered the army he says he is single but Rose Miller went on the live in Vermont. Couldn't find a divorce, so I guess he just changed his marital status on his own. William's brother (the other son) was James Joseph Creamore and I have all his records... he is our grandfather.
I really hope you can find something on the father and mother as we have been at a dead end for years now... thank you.
