Thank you Nycole for your help. I should receive my grandfather's military records (Arthur) this month. There is a Wm. McArthur listed in Lovell's Montreal Directory after WWII. I don't remember any relatives talking about him, which leads me to believe he died earlier. He did not attend my dad's wedding in 1947. Duncan, his brother did & he also resided in Montreal. Wm is also NOT listed in the QC Death Index.
Thank you Nycole for the time you spent responding. I appreciate any & all search suggestions you may have.
