Cote St. Paul, Montreal. Looking for 1852 birth record

My Scottish ancestor Mary Baillie Lowe was born, or christened, on 6 Nov 1852 in Cote St Paul, Montreal. She was one of 9 children born to John Lowe and Helen (ne Stormont). Six of these children were born in Scotland, but Mary was born in Cote St Paul, a sister was born in New Glasgow-by-Montreal, and a brother in Montreal. To date, I'm unable to locate official records for the Montreal births of Mary and her 2 siblings. Could anyone please tell me where I should start to look for these records, especially for the Cote St Paul birth? Also, I understand Cote St Paul may have been a Scottish enclave along the banks of the Lachine Canal in the mid-1800s. Could anyone please point me to a 19th century map and history of this specific area of Montreal? Thank you.
