on my grans death certificate she is given wife of david watson and underneath its got the words brosard traveler,
he left his family and went to canada in 1910 joining the army in 1915 giving his next of kin as mabel watson wife .he was still married to my gran at the time .ihave been puzzled over the word brosard for ages , but have since found out that it is a town in southern quebec a residential suburb of montreal, he joined the army in montreal ,is anybody out there who knows brosard and could do some checking for me ,his name was david watson born 24th sept 1880 in halifax england his canadian wifes name was mabel, he would have married mabel between 1910 and 1915
