Help with Montreal resources/sites
Posted by: Barbara McDonald Date: August 15, 2000 at 13:55:19

I recently found my husband is descended from Nicolas Senet dit Laliberte who was first a corporal in the French army, then a royal notary in Montreal in the late 1600's. Pointe-aux-Trembles is listed as the place of marriages and baptisms, also may have lived in Chambly. My husband occasionally goes to Montreal on business (we live in KY) and I would like to know where he can go to get information on his family and also find some historical sites that may relate to his family that he can visit. Thanks,
Barbara McDonald
