There is another John Flanagan in Victoria County but he was born Ontario and is Church of England.

1901 census Fort William has a Patrick and Martha Flanagan with their children.
Says Patrick has been in the county about 15 years which would make it c 1885, same as above John.

1901 and 1911 census on www.automatedgenealogy.com

1891 census has John Flanagan, 22, b Ireland, parents bIreland, carpenter, RC, living in White RiverAlgoma.
Appears he is in a boarding house.

1891 census Algoma, Patrick and Merthe [Martha] with 2 children Allme 1 and John 2/12 are in Neebing North?.

Did not find Ellen/Patrick Flanagan on 1891 census.
