She, Pearl, is also on 1901 census with her parents in Belleville.

A Pearl Smith,20, d/o Wm Smith and Emma Cronk, married 24 Dec 1906 in Belleville to Bert Prest.
Was hoping Maude may have been a witness but no luck there.
Bert Prest crossed into the US going to Detroit, 1918, Wm Smith of Holloway Ont is given as Canada contact.

A Harry E Smith b March 1895, aged 16 is on 1911 census with grandparents Willam and Emma in Belleville.
Was he Maude's son before she married Norton?
Did not find him on WW1 attestation site.

Did not find anymore on John and Maude.
